How did such an elegant townhome in Baltimore’s exclusive Bolton Hill neighborhood get such a name? It all goes back to the children’s book The Wind in the Willows, where Mole exclaims “Oh My” each time he encounters exceptional hospitality and accommodations. Mr. Mole is ideally situated for guests who want the convenience of a city inn and the comfortusually associated with large suburban properties. In downtown Baltimore’s Bolton Hill, a onetime suburb of the wealthy, Mr. Mole is within walking distance ofBaltimore’s “Cultural Corn-don” (including the Lyric Opera House, Myerhoff Symphony Hall, and Howard Street’s Antique Row).
Co-owners and hosts Paul Bragaw and Cohn Clarke have spared no effort to make their accommodations unique and comfortable. The first floor consists of a diningroomwith alarge, lovely bay win-dow and two sitting rooms full of color and elegant clutter. Guests can eat at individual tables onin the adjoining rooms. Typically, the Dutch-style brealtht St consists of fresh fruits, Amish cheeses and meats, homemade breads, and coffee cake.
