Owners and innkeepers Terry and Richard Anderson continue to make changes at this inn on 8 landscaped acres on a ridge above the quaint town of Lambertville. The original 1820 field-stone building was enlarged in 1927 by Margaret Spencer, one of the first female architects to graduate from MIT. Now the Andersons are planning the conversions of the carriage house and greenhouse with an eye to boosting corporate business.
It’s hard not to want to curl up by the fire on one of the wicker chaises in the beamed sunroom, where windows on two sides bathe the stone room in light.
