Innkeepers Cordie and Charles Puttkammer took over in 1994 and have been sprucing up the place since. She is a professor of childhood development, and he runs the inn from a table in the dining room—that is, when he isn’t collecting things or out about the property. They are currently completing renovations to a building moved to the site to serve as a center for business meetings. It should open sometime in 1998.
