Sandy Hook’s Gateway National Recreation Area, which has a natural beach, lighthouse, and ranger-led programs, is a popular destination, as is New York City, just a ferry ride away. Sisters Sherry Ruby and Gloria Miller, proprietors along with Sherry’s husband, Robert Adamec, also enjoy directing guests to antiquing in Red Bank and to walks to nearby Hartshorne Woods or Twin Lights, another local lighthouse.
