This Gothic Revival house and adjacent cottage are almost engulfed by more than 100 rose bushes, and rosy colors and fibral patterns are everywhere, from dishes to bedlinens. Walls and woodwork in the parlor, which has a gas fireplace, are pink with a capital “P.” Romantic guest rooms, which are furnished with antiques and pieces from the ‘30s and ‘40s, have flowered curtains and wallpapers. One has a Monet-style pond of lilies painted above the claw-foot tub in its bath as well as a gas-log stove.
The cottage, nicknamed the “Innlett,” sleeps five and is good for families. A cot or crib can be provided. There is also a first-floor suite with its own entrance.
