This gingerbread Victorian mansion in the northern Catskills—midway be-tween Ski Windham and the White Birches cross-country trails—was originally two cottages that were part of a 19th-century summer boardinghouse colony. Owners Lenore and Vito Radelich had the two structures joined in 1985:
The new middle section is indistinguishable from those sections built in 1867.
The bed-and-breakfast is noted for its stunning oak floors, original chestnut moldings, and keyhole windows. Guest rooms take their names from the sea-sons and months of the year: June has a stained-glass window, a cathedral ceiling, and a terrific view of Ski Windham; and Summer, the honeymoon suite, has a king-size bed, a skylight, and a double whirlpool bath. All rooms have down comforters. In January 1997, a new Car-riage House annex with five rooms opened behind the main house. The rooms are more like spacious suites; each has a private entrance, a gaslit fireplace, a high cathedral ceiling with skylight, and a two-person whirlpool bath with a shuttered window that opens to the bedroom.
