You can breakfast on the terrace by the reflecting pool, in the sunroomby the fountain, with a pink flamingo, or at the Heplewhite table with Windsor chairs in the formal dining room. A collection of Currier and Ives prints and paintings of horses adorns the inn’s spacious entry hall, but for the real thing, visitors need only walk half a block to the racetrack.
Goshen is known as the Cradle of the Trotters, andthe harness trackhere is the nation’s oldest. Tennis courts are also a short walkaway, and hot-air-balloon rides can be arranged at anearby airport.
