You’ll find nothing fancy at the Country Road Lodge, which is far off the beaten path: This was once a small, rustic camp cottage at the end of a long, winding dirt road, and, with some additions and improvements, it still is. “What we have is setting,” brag the owners, Steve and Sandi Parisi. Perched close enough to the churning Hudson River to practically fallin, and surrounded by mountain vistas, the small house is totally seeluded. The hiking and cross-country ski trails go on for miles through the forests.
