In 1980 schoolteachers Rosemary Jensen, Mariana Di Toro, and her brother Lucio Di Torolieso bought what was then an abandoned discotheque and transformed it into this small hostelry. The nondescript rooms are decorated in pale tones, but there is plenty ofcolor in the spectacular sunrises, sunsets, fall foliage, and rainbows that come free at Point Lookout. The inn’s Bella Vista restaurant combines a variety of cuisines, including Italian and Mediterranean. The casual Rainbow Café serves soups, salads, sandwiches, and some Southwestern fare.
