On a clear day, you can see the mountain ranges of five states from Point Lookout Mountain Inn, a roadside lodge on the
Mohican Trail. The first Point Lookout tower, built as a tourist attraction, was used during World War II for spotting enemy aircraft. It was destroyed by fire in 1965, when the present structure was built.
