Cheap Bed and Breakfast in New York: Sanford's Ridge Bed and Breakfast, Queensbury

Sanford’s Ridge is just a five-minute drive from the commercial stretch of Route 9, and yet it has a removed, bucolic feeling. In 1990 owners Carolyn and Bob Rudolph restored the 1797 Federal-style house, with its 14-foot ceilings, wide-plank pine floors, and fireplaces.
The three guest rooms are furnished with an eclectic collection of antiques. The spacious Webster Room has a queen-size canopied four-poster, a fireplace, a bath with a claw-foot tub, and a view of the Adirondacks. The Sanford Room has a fireplace and a four-poster queen-size bed decked with a patchwork quilt handmade by Carolyn.
