No two rooms are the same: All the furnishings are eclectic—and recherché. If you seek accommodations that hark back to the Adirondack camps enjoyed by some of America’s wealthiest families, ask for Room 16, the Adirondack Suite, with Mission-style furniture manufactured in upstate New York, a twig settee, Papago Indian baskets on the wall, and a wood-paneled bathroom. If you yearn for the south of France but can’t afford to go there, the Riviera Suite (Room 12) may lessen the pangs some-what. Its sitting area, furnished with rattan, is graced with a Mediterranean mural; an amusing Casbah painting hangs on the bedroom wall; and the bath-room is decorated in apricot tones. Other rooms are furnished with Tiffany lamp-shades, brass-and-iron beds with cr0-cheted bedspreads, wicker settees, and Victoriana.
