The Wrights have chosen to preserve the atmosphere of the old boarding-house, so rooms are small but pleasantly cozy. Antique iron beds and oak dressers are part of the original decor. Third-floor bedrooms have eaved ceilings, and one large room offers two double beds. Rooms are supplied with bathrobes for guests.
Hikers should enjoy the numerous trails that lead from the inn onto nearby Over-look, Indian Head, Twin, and Hunter mountains. There are cross-country trails and three alpine ski areas close by. Spring anglers have access to a trout stream on the property, and golfers will find several fine courses a short drive away.
