The guest rooms are furnished with English and American antiques and country pieces. There are patchwork quilts, lots of books, wicker chairs, and convenient reading lamps. Room 9, a favorite of guests, has rich burgundy paisley draperies, hunter-green walls, an antique brass bed, and a view of the stables. Room 10 overlooks the pond and has a white birch four-poster bed that Bob built.
On the inn’s grounds you can swim, fish, play tennis, ice-skate, and take leisurely walks with a picnic lunch. Bob and Kathy can arrange horseback riding and carriage and sleigh rides. The area also has its share of antiques shops and flea markets.
