Chef David Giles presides in the dining room. Everything served is made on the premises, including breads, pastas, ice cream, and pastries. You can work off a little of David’s duck with orange sauce with a game ofpool, Ping-Pong, or table-top shuffleboard in the inn’s game room.
No motors are allowed on the 45-acre lake, so it’s quiet and crystal clean for swimmingandflshing. On occasiomdmurder-mystery weekends, whodunits are performed by the Starlight Players. In winterthere’s ice-skating, and the McMahons’s son, a certified ski instructor, can take you down the property’s slopes or show you the best trails for cross-country skiing. On crisp autumn mornings you are likely to see deer or flocks of wild turkeys through the early mist.
