Set on 80 acres of the former Blue Rock Farm, the Bleu Rock Inn enjoys a bucolic setting. The Blue Ridge Mountains form the backdrop, and a pond with ducks and geese, rolling pastures, and 7½ acres of vineyards lie in the foreground. Guests can fish for bass and bluegill in the pond and pluck peaches and apples in the farm’s orchards.
The guest rooms, simply furnished in pastels with light woods and lace curtains, are pleasing. A decanter of complimentary brandy and a fruit basket are left in each one. The four upstairs rooms have private balconies; nos. 2—4 overlook the serene pond and have views out to the mountains.
