Barbara, who is fluent in three languages, and her husband, David, are expatriates from the Washington, D.C., area, where she worked for the British embassy. Now she splits her time between Miss Molly’s and the Channel Bass Inn, just around the corner, which the Wiedenhefts also operate. Guests of both inns mingle here over Barbara’s scrumptious scones.
