Sitting high on a hill outside Gordonsville, in the midst of Phil and Susie Audibert’s 235-acre estate, is Tivoli, a three-story, Corinthian-columned, 24-room brick house built in 1903. Phil grew up in the house, but he and Susie now live in the farmhouse, so Tivoli stood vacant for several years. Transforming it into a stately B&B has been a major, but worthwhile, undertaking. The result, a breath-taking scene, has lately inspired a fair amount of vow-taking, too, with 16 nuptials performed here over a recent year.
