There’s a lot to be said forjust hanging out on the shady back porch, down by the fishing pond, or around the swimming pool, but if you’re aiming to run one of the local rivers, as most guests are, Judy’s whopping, traditional breakfast served family style—eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, potatoes, and homemade biscuits and cinnamon rolls—will put power in your paddle. The inn is also a popular spot for weddings, with a white, horse-drawn carriage providing an especially romantic touch.
